Welcome to the Lincoln Centre for Autonomous Systems Research (L-CAS) in the School of Computer Science at the University of Lincoln. Our mission is to become a leading European centre for research in technologies for enhancing the quality of life, including the quality of our health, wellbeing and the food we eat. Towards this end, L-CAS specialises in the integration of perception, learning, decision-making and control capabilities in autonomous systems such as mobile robots and smart devices, together with the application of this research in fields including personal robotics, healthcare, food and agriculture, security, and intelligent transportation.
